I’ve been thinking a lot about the crime scene details shared about the tragic murders of Ana and her son Yudiel in Mesa. The precision with which those shots were fired is chilling. It seems like the shooters had inside information, maybe they knew the layout of the home better than most. I keep wondering if someone close to them had sinister intentions or if there was bad blood we don't know about. It’s just so unsettling how only Ana and Yudiel were struck despite so many people being in the house. The fact that other children were there too makes it all the more terrifying — those innocent kids most likely saw more than they should have at such a tender age. I hope the authorities can gather enough evidence from nearby surveillance cameras to track down the people responsible. Those who did this need to be brought to justice, not only for the family affected but for the peace of the whole community. Sending my deepest sympathies to all who are grieving and holding onto hope for a break in the case soon.
