Hey everyone, I found something that might be a small piece of this puzzle. While checking some old records, I stumbled upon a local news article from a small town in Georgia, dated around the same time Mr. McClain went missing. Apparently, there was an unclaimed backpack found along a rest area on I-75, with few items that match the kind you’d figure a traveler might have: some Florida brochures and a map of the southern U.S. Now, I can't confirm if this belongs to Patrick, but given his route from Illinois to Florida, I-75 would be a logical path for him. Has anyone looked into this lead, or perhaps contacted the local authorities there? I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but it might be worth a deeper look. Thanks for any info you can provide.
