Hey everyone, new member here! I’ve been lurking and following the updates on the Barry Lee Lafumee case and finally felt compelled to join the conversation. I’m curious if anyone has discussed the role of local media coverage in this case. It seems like there was very little information out there for a good stretch of time, which might have hampered the search efforts, right? I remember hearing a brief mention on a local news station back in April, but then it seemed to drop off the radar until he was found. Wondering if anyone else in the Lakeland area noticed the same or has thoughts on how it impacted the community's involvement in the search. Maybe more visibility could have led to a faster resolution, or perhaps there were factors at play we're not aware of. Would love to hear your thoughts!
