Hey everyone, I’ve been following the disappearance of Ian McCarthy here in Anchorage and wanted to discuss something I found a bit puzzling. I heard that Ian was very well-known around the Tudor Road area, especially at The Rescue Mission where he was last seen. Some folks there apparently remember seeing him pretty often, but none seem to recall if he mentioned heading anywhere specific that day. It makes me wonder, how does someone who's somewhat familiar in a neighborhood just vanish without leaving any trace or at least someone noticing them heading off in a particular direction? There’s got to be someone out there who might have seen something or maybe he had a regular routine that went unnoticed by those around him. If anyone frequents that area, maybe you’ve seen him or maybe the tattoo on his forehead sounds familiar? It doesn’t add up that someone his size and with such distinctive features hasn’t been spotted or remembered by more people. I really hope someone out there has a piece of this puzzle they might not even realize is important. Sending thoughts to his family and hoping this keeps the conversation going to find some answers.
