I was just thinking about how Misael's case reminds me of a discussion I had with some friends about missing adults. It's often assumed that adults have the right to disappear if they choose to, but it makes me wonder how authorities determine when to truly consider it a concerning case. Misael's abrupt silence and the eventual police report indicate that something wasn't right from the start. It seems like it would be really difficult for law enforcement to differentiate between a voluntary absence and a situation requiring urgent intervention without more information. I wish there were more concrete ways for the public to assist, especially when there isn't much to go on. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
