I've been following Debra Lynn Childers' case closely, and something that's sticking with me is the relationship between Debra and Brett Puett. They met under pretty unusual circumstances, living out of their vehicles, and shared a platonic connection. It makes me wonder about their dynamics and how someone who seemed to be a companion could end up doing something so cruel. It’s troubling how trust can be so severely misplaced and how vulnerability can be exploited. My heart goes out to Debra's family as they try to make sense of all this. I can’t imagine the betrayal and loss they must be feeling. Anyone else have thoughts on how these kinds of relationships might be a red flag or how we can be more aware in similar scenarios?
