I've been following the case of Emily Toro Mieles from Queens, and something has been nagging at me. The fact that the color of his hair isn't known or specified is rather unusual, don't you think? It's one of those details you'd expect to be listed first thing in a missing persons report. I can't help but wonder if maybe he frequently changed his hair color or style, which could make it tougher for people to spot him. It seems like such a small detail, but it might actually be significant, especially if you're depending on people in the neighborhood to have remembered someone from a brief encounter. Has anyone else noticed how many little details seem to be missing here? The lack of witness accounts or any description of the clothes he was last seen in has got to make this infinitely harder for the family. Hoping that someone who knows him personally can shed some light on these details that might help jog memories in the Flushing area. Thoughts?
