Has anyone looked into the theory that James Myers might have headed out for one of his outdoor explorations and encountered some kind of natural hazard? I mean, these areas around Taos can be pretty treacherous. Rockslides, sudden weather shifts, or even a hidden crevasse could lead to trouble, especially in winter conditions. Given his experience, you'd think he'd be prepared, but even the most seasoned outdoorspeople can have accidents. I wonder if there's a chance he might have ventured off to an area he hadn’t explored before, underestimating the risks? Would love to hear if anyone local has any insights or has heard about similar cases in that region.
