I saw a post about Jameer Vinson's case, and I'm perplexed by the lack of specific details surrounding his disappearance. It seems like info such as what he was last seen wearing was never disclosed. I wonder if the family or authorities intentionally kept this under wraps for investigative reasons. Could there be some strategic reason in missing persons cases to withhold such information initially? It seems like it might make public assistance harder to obtain, but maybe it helps in keeping certain leads credible? I'd love to hear thoughts from anyone who's worked in missing persons or has experienced something similar.
