I recently came across the case of Ramone G. Thorne, and I can’t help but think about the neighborhood on Morton Street where this tragedy unfolded. It's such a vivid reminder of how a community can be deeply affected by violence, even decades later. I wonder if anyone from that area recalls anything unusual from that night or has any memories they might not have thought were important at the time. It's frustrating to know that despite all the advancements in crime-solving technology, we're still at a loss here. If only the city could find a way to bring more resources into revisiting these cold cases. Perhaps someone out there still holds the missing piece of information needed to solve this puzzle. My heart goes out to Ramone's family, who have had to live with unanswered questions for so long. It's never too late for justice, and hopefully, with the community's help, they'll have it one day. If anyone has info, no matter how small, please consider reaching out to the MPD.
