Has anyone found it odd that George Strickland wasn't reported missing until over a year after he was last seen? I can't help but wonder what the situation was with his family or close friends during that time. It's just interesting that no one seemed to flag his absence or raise any alarms sooner. I get that people can lose touch, but going from March 2020 to June 2021 before an official report? Maybe there were reasons, but it feels like a significant gap that might hold some clues if we dig into it. Anyone else have thoughts on these long delays in missing persons cases or know what could lead to something like this?

I recently came across George Strickland's case, and something's been bothering me. I keep thinking about the significant delay in officially reporting him missing—it was over a year after he was last seen! I know everyone processes things differently, but could there have been something else at play? Did his family or acquaintances assume he just wanted space, or was it something else? There must be more to why it took so long for someone to file the report. Anyone familiar with situations where missing person reports were delayed like this? Any thoughts on how it might have affected the investigation?

I’m really puzzled by George Strickland’s case because it took over a year for him to be reported missing. Does anyone know why there was such a delay? It seems unusual, especially since he was last seen in March 2020 but wasn't reported missing until June 2021. I wonder if there were specific reasons that the family waited or if there might be reasons related to his lifestyle. I'm hoping someone closer to the case might have some insight. It's been a few years now, and it's difficult to imagine how hard it must be for his loved ones to not have any closure or updates.
