Hey everyone,
I've been reading through the discussions about the tragic loss of Everett Yates. I can't imagine how his family and friends are feeling right now. I heard that some community members in Golden Valley are really coming together to support each other, which is just incredible to see in a time of such sadness.
I read somewhere that folks have started lighting candles in his memory, and it's such a touching way to honor Everett. Has anyone else heard about this or participated in something similar in your own communities? Even though I didn't know him personally, Everett's story really hit home for me. It's heartbreaking how many families are affected by gun violence.
The strength and unity being shown by his loved ones is truly inspiring, though. Hoping for peace and comfort for them all during this unimaginable time.
