I've been following the tragic case of Cameron Brown and Asya Rose Ribble, and I can't get over the courage it must have taken for their two young children to stay strong amidst all this. Knowing they were in the house during the shootings just breaks my heart for them. I really hope they have a solid support system in place to help them process everything. Also, it makes me wonder about the extended family—will they be able to step up and provide that sense of stability that those kids will desperately need? It's comforting to think that communities often rally around families torn apart by such senseless violence, but it shouldn't have to come to that in the first place. I think this case really sheds light on the importance of both supporting victim families and addressing the larger issue of gun violence. Sending all my thoughts to everyone affected by this loss.
