Hey everyone, I've been following Samira Walters' case closely and find the whole cell phone situation quite intriguing. From what I gather, she could only use her phone when it was connected to the internet. This seems a bit odd, right? I wonder if she typically relied on public Wi-Fi spots or if someone was specifically limiting her phone's capabilities. Also, the fact that her family managed to get through to her via text when law enforcement couldn't is puzzling. Is it possible she was avoiding calls from unknown numbers or perhaps recognized her family's number when they messaged? It makes me think she was being extra cautious about who she communicated with, which could either be because she’s trying to stay hidden or due to someone else influencing her situation. I feel like the cell phone might hold more answers than we're currently aware of. Maybe it's already been examined for any apps she might be using to keep in touch with specific people, or even one of those location-sharing apps? It's unsettling imagining how technology can both obscure and reveal so many facets of a case like this. Thoughts?
