I've been following Erica Marie Encinas Burch's case, and I've been thinking a lot about the lack of substantial media coverage. It's puzzling how some missing person cases get plenty of attention while others, like Erica's, seem to get lost in the shuffle. I know Denver is a big city with its share of news stories, but I can't help but wonder if more awareness would prompt witnesses to come forward or lead to new leads. It's just frustrating, for her family and friends, to feel like her story isn’t getting out there enough. Given how vague the details are about her disappearance, it seems like she'd benefit from a more public push. Anyone else feel like media pressure could make a difference here?
