I came across Varnell Middleton Jr.'s case while reading up on recent missing person investigations and noticed something interesting about his last known location—the OYO Hotel on I-55. I live not too far from Jackson and, from what I know, that area can be a bit sketchy at times. Has there been any further info about potential sightings or leads coming from around that hotel? I'm curious about how the investigators approached combing through that location for clues. Also, grateful to hear he was found alive. It would be interesting to know what led the authorities to conclude that he was there last. I hope Varnell and his family are doing okay now. Anyone with local insight care to share thoughts on how this case unfolded during the search phase?
