Has anyone else been thinking about the psychological effects on the 9-year-old brother in Beau Pecor's case? It's truly unimaginable what that child must be going through right now. Not only did he experience the trauma of the accident, but he's likely dealing with feelings of guilt and confusion, despite it not being his fault that the adults failed to secure the firearm properly. The community has shown a lot of empathy toward Beau's family, but I hope that the older brother is also getting the support and care he needs to process everything. Therapy and counseling could be crucial for him to heal. It's an angle we should definitely discuss more because his life has been forever altered as well. Thoughts?
