Has anyone else noticed a pattern in case number assignments for missing persons documented by NCMEC? Jakai Dion Ransom's case is logged as 2081105, and it got me thinking about how these numbers are generated. Do they provide any insight into the timing or type of case, or are they just sequential? It might seem like a small detail, but every piece of information could be useful. Besides, I'm always curious about how these systems work behind the scenes.
