I’ve been following the case of Dagmara Dorta Diaz, and I can’t stop thinking about the protection order she had against Palmero. It's such an important step for someone to take, and it shows what a difficult and scary situation she must have been trying to navigate. It’s so profoundly upsetting to see that despite her efforts to protect herself, the system wasn’t able to prevent this tragedy. I really feel for her and all who knew her.
