I was reading about the Watkins case and something that stood out to me is how tight-knit Robin's family seems to be. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they're going through right now. Robin was clearly a central figure in her family's life, especially with her children, Eddie II and Erica, and her young granddaughter, Hailey. It's so important for communities to rally around families during these unimaginable times. I also wonder how Robin's siblings are coping. They’ve lost a sister in such a tragic way, and it must be incredibly difficult to process. I hope they find some peace and support from their loved ones and community. This really serves as a stark reminder of the silent struggles so many face with domestic violence and how vital it is to be vigilant and supportive of those around us. If only there had been some way to prevent such a heartbreaking outcome.
