I’ve been following the case of Marcos Vasquez closely and something that really stands out is how quickly the awareness about his disappearance has spread. It seems like the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and local authorities have been working overtime to get the word out. I read somewhere that they’ve been using geotargeted alerts on social media platforms to make sure people in and around Albemarle County are notified. It’s a smart approach since so many people are glued to their phones these days. Has anyone else noticed similar tactics being used in other missing persons cases? It makes me hopeful that with this level of outreach, more people will remember seeing Marcos and provide some leads.
