Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Anand N. Merle’s case for a while now, and there’s something that’s been bugging me. Has anyone else noticed how quiet things have gone regarding any CCTV footage from the area where he was last seen? Lafayette Street isn’t exactly a small place, and I would’ve expected there to be some sort of surveillance from nearby businesses or traffic cameras. It makes me wonder if they’ve checked all possible footage or if something is preventing it from being released.
If anyone has insights or ideas about how this aspect could affect the investigation, I’d be really interested to hear your thoughts. We all want to see his family get the answers they deserve!
Has anyone looked into whether there were any surveillance cameras in the area around Lafayette Street on the day Anand N. Merle went missing? I feel like sometimes footage from nearby businesses or homes can turn up some valuable clues. Even if the police have already checked, maybe additional community members have private recordings from doorbell or security cams they haven't shared yet. It could be helpful for people living in that area to review their recordings from February 23, 2021. Sometimes the smallest detail can lead to a big break in these cases. Wishing for some progress soon.
Has anyone else noticed the lack of surveillance footage or witness reports about Anand N. Merle's disappearance? I find it puzzling considering he went missing in a populated area like Lafayette Street. It makes me wonder if investigators have checked all possible nearby cameras or if there was some issue with them on that day. It’s also peculiar how few witnesses have come forward, especially since it was broad daylight. Maybe someone on here knows if there were any events or anything unusual happening around Gretna on February 23, 2021, that might explain this strange lack of eyewitnesses? It just seems so unusual for there to be no sightings at all.
