I was thinking about the kind of impact that Quentin "Que" Rutherford must have had on those around him. Reading about the love and support from his family, it’s clear he was cherished and left a significant void in their lives. It’s incredibly moving that the family requested donations to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America in his memory. This gesture shows the depth of their compassion and the desire to make a difference even in the midst of their grief. It also makes me wonder if Quentin or someone close to him was affected by this condition. Regardless, it speaks volumes about the Rutherford family and how they want Quentin’s legacy to stand for something meaningful. I hope that continuing to talk about his case will bring needed attention and eventually lead to justice for him and his family.
