I came across the case of Dana Steven Francisco Jr., and something's been gnawing at me. Has anyone else noticed how long it took for the official missing person report to be filed? I mean, he was last seen on January 6, but the report wasn't filed until February 20. That's over a month! Is it just me, or does that seem like a significant delay? I get that the family might have initially thought he left on his own because of the disturbance, but for that much time to pass without any word from him... Seems like reason enough to raise some red flags way earlier, right? Anyone have insights or similar experiences with missing person cases?
