Hey everyone, I've been following the Boothbay Harbor case and something that's been on my mind is the role of those little ones who were tragically caught up in it all. It’s been nearly 20 years, and I keep wondering about how they’ve been coping after such a traumatic experience. Growing up after witnessing something like that must be incredibly tough. I've read that they were really brave to seek help at the Coast Guard station immediately after the incidents – those poor kids had to grow up way too fast. I sincerely hope that they've found some peace and support over the years, maybe through counseling or community support. It’s a stark reminder of how deeply domestic violence can scar not just the immediate victims, but the entire family and community. Does anyone know if the community or DAPC ever provided any specific outreach or support for children who witness such tragedies? It would be comforting to know they’re being taken care of. Sending love and strength to everyone touched by this awful situation, especially those kids. ?
