Does anyone else find it particularly moving how dedicated Peyton was to his community and career? I recently learned about his role on the Local S6 Education Committee and how much he cared about helping others succeed. It sounds like he was really committed to his work and took pride in being a skilled pipefitter at Bath Iron Works. Not only did he complete a tough apprenticeship program, but he also earned an associate degree from Maine Maritime Academy! It seemed like Peyton really valued education and personal growth, which speaks volumes about his character. I can't help but think about how much he's going to be missed by his colleagues and everyone he supported in the union. My heart goes out to his fiancée, Rachael, and their daughter, Elle. It's such a devastating loss for his family and the entire community.
