Does anyone else think it's really odd that James Burgess was missing for an entire year before being reported? I mean, I get that people sometimes lose touch, but a whole year is a long time. Could there be reasons someone might wait so long to report? Maybe he had a habit of disappearing for stretches? Or could the family have been in denial until they just couldn't ignore it anymore? The gap seems too wide for just a simple falling out. I wonder if there are any past instances or friends who can shed light on why he wasn't reported sooner. Thoughts?
