Does anyone have any information about how Kenneth Gould was connected to Patricia or Lloyd? I’ve read that Gould had a history of sexual assault, but I’m curious if there was any known link prior to this awful crime. It seems like in so many cases there’s either a known connection or some hint of one beforehand. My heart goes out to the families—I can’t begin to imagine living through decades of uncertainty and then learning something so horrific all these years later. It's a relief that advances in technology can at least bring some semblance of resolution and answers to people who have been left in the dark for far too long. If anyone has more insights about other cases that have been solved this way, I’d love to hear about it.

Just came across the story of Patricia Kalitzke and Lloyd Bogle, and I can't help but think about the enormous impact this case must have had on the local community at the time. I mean, Great Falls wasn't exactly a bustling metropolis in the '50s, and for something so violent and tragic to occur must have been a real shock for everyone in town. It's crazy to think it took all those years and advancements in technology to finally give the families some closure. I also find it fascinating yet heartbreaking (oof, there's that word!) how a single piece of forensic evidence, like one overlooked sperm cell, could end up being the key to unlocking the whole mystery decades later. Goes to show how far we've come with DNA technology and how it can be instrumental in cold cases like this. Still, can't imagine the mixed emotions the families went through when they finally got the news after so many years of unanswered questions. Sending thoughts to Patricia and Lloyd's families who carried the weight of this for decades. It's amazing to see justice, even delayed, finally come through.
