I can't get over how isolated this family was living in that remote cabin. It makes me think about how different life must have been for them compared to the rest of us. Arie seemed to be trying to build connections, being active in local theater and taking the kids into town. It's so tragic that she was looking for community, but still ended up in such a dire situation. I can't help but think about those little ones and how their lives should've been filled with more joy and laughter. My heart goes out to those who knew them in the community—it's hard to imagine the impact this has left on everyone. It's a reminder of how we sometimes overlook the struggles people might be facing behind closed doors in our own neighborhoods.

I can’t stop thinking about the friends and family of Arie and her children, especially how the community must be reaching out to them at this difficult time. They seemed like an incredible family with their own unique dynamic, and Arie's involvement in local theater shows she was committed to being a part of something larger. It's touching to see a parent getting involved in the community, not only for herself but for her kids, too. I keep wondering about the role that living so remotely played in all of this. Being off the grid might appeal to some for the peace and independence it brings, but it can be isolating and could potentially amplify issues without the support of a nearby community. I'm curious if Arie's growing involvement with the local community hinted at her longing for connection. I hope the community continues to rally around the surviving family and friends, offering them the support and compassion they truly need right now. My thoughts are with all those affected.
