Hey everyone. I’ve been following the news about Kaylib McFadden, the young teen who went missing in North Charleston. Something that stands out to me is the lack of information on the circumstances around his disappearance. It’s unusual that they haven’t shared what he was wearing or anything more specific about the timeline of the day he vanished. I wonder if that’s strategic on the part of the authorities, maybe to filter out false leads or misinformation? If anyone is from the Vanderbrook Place area or nearby, what’s the vibe there in terms of community involvement in the search? Are there flyers up, or have there been any local volunteer search parties? It seems like community involvement can sometimes lead to breakthroughs in these cases.
