I’ve been reflecting on the Great Falls incident and can't stop thinking about the survivors and the wider community reeling from this tragedy. One thing that sticks out to me is how devastating it must be for Timothy Edwards. He not only survived a traumatic experience physically, but emotionally, he’s now carrying the weight of losing people he likely knew or saw regularly. I can’t even imagine how that changes a person’s life.
If anyone has experience with supporting someone who’s been through something similar, your insights could be incredibly helpful. There’s no roadmap for coping with this kind of survivor’s guilt, and hearing from people who’ve helped others navigate through might bring some light. Also, has there been any update on how the community's supporting him, or any opportunities to help?
I’ve been thinking a lot about how quickly the community rallied together after the Emerald City Casino tragedy, especially at the vigil held at Amigo Lounge. It's a testament to how tight-knit Great Falls really is. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain that Cheryl, Wendy, and Steve’s families are experiencing right now. Has anyone heard how Timothy Edwards is doing? I hope he’s finding the support he needs to heal, both physically and emotionally. Also, a huge shoutout to the local businesses, like Emerald City Casino, for their cooperation with the investigation and their sincere support for the community during such a tough time.
It's hard to put into words the impact that a tragedy like this can have on a community. I keep thinking about the vigil at the Amigo Lounge, where everyone came together to honor Cheryl, Wendy, and Steve. So many familiar faces showed up to show their respects, and it was clear just how loved these three were. The sense of unity at the gathering was humbling, but it also served as a stark reminder of how cruelly they were taken from us. I didn't know any of the victims personally, but seeing the outpouring of grief and support really makes you think about the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment with those we love. Thoughts are with Timothy as he continues to recover and with the families who have to navigate through this immense loss.
