Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Nelson Mobley's case lately. It's hard to believe that it's been so many years and still no answers for his family. One thing that really stands out to me is the location of the crime. The 4200 block of 4th Street, SE, might not mean much to some, but for anyone familiar with the area, you know it's a residential community where people should feel safe. It's unimaginable to think that violence entered such a space on that night back in 2005.
What really concerns me is how there might be people who saw or heard something that night but haven't come forward yet. Maybe they thought what they saw wasn't important at the time, but even the smallest detail could be the key to solving Nelson's murder. I really hope anyone with memories from that night rethinks their stance and considers speaking up.
It's clear the MPD is still dedicated to this case, and the reward could be life-changing for someone who comes forward. I can't imagine the pain his family continues to go through, and they deserve peace. This is a call to the community to rally and help change the outcome of this case.
Let's keep Nelson's memory alive and push for justice. Any thoughts, or has anyone else heard updates about the case?
Stay safe,

Hey everyone,
I've been digging into the unsolved case of Nelson Leroy Mobley's tragic death on March 25, 2005, and I'm trying to wrap my head around what might've happened that night. It's really hard to understand how someone could just disappear like this with no answers for so many years.
I read about how MPD has tried to get the community involved, but I wonder if there might be people who hesitate to come forward due to fear or distrust. It's not uncommon for folks to feel scared about speaking up, especially if they think they could be targeted or if they don't have faith in the system. But every tiny bit of info could be the piece that finally solves the puzzle and brings some peace to Nelson's family and friends.
Do you think the reward might encourage more people to step up, or are there other ways the police could reach the community more effectively? It would be really great if this case could finally get the breakthrough it needs. Keeping Nelson's loved ones in my thoughts and hoping for some movement in this case soon.
Would love to hear what others think about why so many cases remain unsolved and how communities can be more actively involved in bringing justice for victims like Nelson.
