Has anyone else noticed the strange detail about John's vehicle being left at his house? I mean, if he planned on leaving for any length of time, wouldn’t he have taken it with him, especially in a rural area like Blue Mounds where having a car is almost essential? It just makes me wonder if he intended to go anywhere at all that day or if maybe he was expecting someone to come to him. It’s also weird that no significant clues have shown up despite all the search efforts. I read somewhere that the Wisconsin weather can sometimes lead to really intense fog. Could the weather have played a role in him potentially getting disoriented if he went for a walk or something? Just thinking out loud here, really hoping something will turn up soon.
I've been following John Wallenkamp's case closely, and something that really puzzles me is how his vehicle was left at his residence. It seems like in so many cases, the missing person’s car is often found somewhere unexpected, which gives searchers a starting point to work from. But with John, his car being at home doesn’t provide any leads or insight into where he might have gone or what he was planning. Was he known for taking walks or hikes in the area? Did he have a routine where it wouldn't be unusual for him to go without his car for a bit? It feels like his routine could hold some clues... It’s been almost two years now, and it must be so frustrating for his family to have so few answers. Has anyone else come across other cases where the person's vehicle being at home turned out to be significant in any way? Would love to hear thoughts or theories.
