Has anyone else been following Blake Travon's case? I was reading about how it happened in such a busy part of town, and I can't help but think someone must have seen or heard something back in 2005. Benning Road SE at 7:50 PM wouldn’t have been completely deserted, right? Maybe there are folks who just didn't realize what they saw or heard could be important. If anyone has any insights or ideas on how to jog public memory or encourage more people to come forward, I'd love to hear them. It just seems like there should be a way to crack this wide open after all these years. My thoughts are with his family—they deserve to know who took him away from them.

The other night, I was reading about Blake Hunter's case, and I can't stop thinking about how crucial it is for witnesses to come forward. It's unsettling to know that such a senseless act happened in a busy area where someone must have seen or heard something. The incident occurred during the early evening, when there were likely plenty of people around. It's unimaginable what his family is going through all these years later, not having any closure. If anyone reading this happened to be in the vicinity of Benning Road on that day and remembers something, even if it seems insignificant, please reach out to the detectives. Your piece of the puzzle might be the one that finally brings justice for Blake and his grieving loved ones.

Hey everyone. I was reading about Blake Travon Hunter's tragic case again, and something really stood out to me. The area where Blake was killed, the 5000 block of Benning Road, is pretty busy and it's surprising to me that there haven't been more leads. It was only around 7:50 PM, a time when you'd expect more people to be out and about. I keep thinking, with the hustle and bustle of that area and the time of day, there's a strong chance that someone out there must have seen or heard something. Maybe a small detail that seemed insignificant at the time could really be a lead that the detectives, C. Queen and Tony Patterson, need to finally crack this case. I feel for Blake's family; not having answers after all these years must be incredibly tough. Let's keep encouraging anyone who might hold even a tiny piece of the puzzle to come forward. Every bit helps in bringing justice for Blake and peace to his loved ones. If you were around that area or know anyone who might have been, please consider reaching out to the MPD.
