Hey everyone,
I've been following the Ammon, Idaho case from 2011, and my heart goes out to all the families affected. One aspect that has been haunting me is trying to understand what the community went through during those initial hours and days after the event. I read that there was a small fire at the scene. Does anyone know if the fire was set before or after the gunshots? I keep thinking about how terrifying it must have been for the first responders who arrived at such a chaotic scene, not knowing what to expect. They have such difficult jobs, and I can only imagine how events like this dwell with them. I'm hoping that the families and the community have found some peace over the years, but it's hard to shake off how deeply this must have scarred everyone involved. If anyone has any insights into how the response unfolded, I'd be interested to know more.
Hey everyone,
I've been trying to wrap my head around the trauma that the Sumner Kern family must be facing after the unimaginable events in Ammon. I've been thinking a lot about the funeral service that took place at Christ the King Lutheran Church. It must have been such an emotional gathering for everyone involved. I can't even begin to understand the pain of saying goodbye to such young lives, like little Gage, and his family. It’s a somber reminder of the preciousness of life and the unexpected tragedies that can change everything in a heartbeat. I hope the community continues to rally around the family and support them through this incredibly difficult time. Does anyone here from the area know if there have been any community events or vigils held in support of the victims' families? Curious how the locals are coping and if there are organized efforts to help them. Sending love and strength to all those affected.
Has anyone looked into the possibility of linking the gun used in the Ammon tragedy to previous crimes in Idaho or surrounding states? Given the severity of the incident, I wonder if the weapon might have been involved in other unsolved cases or if it's traceable back to its owner somehow. It just seems like a crucial piece of the puzzle that might have more connections. My heart truly goes out to the Kern family and everyone touched by this horrible event. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they are enduring. If anyone has any insights or knows more about the weapon used, I'd be really interested in hearing more about it.
