Has anyone else been reflecting on how eerily quiet that New Year’s Eve must have been in Nashua back in 1987 after the tragedy struck? It’s haunting to think about how people likely expected to ring in the new year with joy and hope, and instead, it turned into a nightmare for the families and friends of the victims, including Jesus Santos. I can’t stop thinking about how for his loved ones, every NYE brings a reminder of this terrible loss. Does anyone have any insights into how the community came together afterward, or personal stories of resilience and support from those who were there? I hope Nashua found a way to help each other through the darkness of that time. My heart goes out to all who were affected.

Has anyone else been looking into the life of Jesus Santos before the tragedy? From what I could gather, he seemed like such a promising young man with a bright future ahead of him. I've read that he was known for his kindness and was well-regarded in his neighborhood. I've been thinking about how hard this must be for his family and friends, losing someone so vibrant in such a violent and senseless way. It's chilling to ponder how someone like Rafael Rodriguez could invade the sanctity of a home and cause such chaos and destruction. The fact that the investigators couldn’t find a clear connection between Rodriguez and the victims is puzzling too. How could someone target people seemingly at random? My heart goes out to the entire community of Nashua. I hope they find peace and justice.

After reading about the 1987 tragedy in Nashua, NH, I've been thinking a lot about the impact on the families, especially Jesus Santos's. It's terrifying to imagine losing someone so young and full of potential in such a senseless and random way. The uncertainty surrounding Rodriguez’s motive must have made it so much harder for the families to find peace. I can only hope that the community came together to support each other during such a difficult time, offering whatever comfort they could to those who lost their loved ones. Has there been any memorial or something in Nashua to honor the victims? It seems crucial to remember them and not let the senselessness overshadow the lives they lived.
