I can't stop thinking about the bravery of Trooper Leslie Lord in those final moments. It's clear he must have known the level of danger he was walking into, yet he chose to go to assist a fellow officer without hesitation. It speaks volumes about his character and commitment to protecting his community. Having a close-knit community like Colebrook face such a brutal act must have been deeply shocking. My heart goes out to all those who were affected, especially Trooper Lord's family, friends, and colleagues. It’s a solemn reminder of the daily risks officers take to keep us safe and how precious life truly is. How have the community healing efforts been going? Any memorials planned that anyone knows of?
