Does anyone else find it odd that Amber was last seen in a store parking lot, a place that's usually bustling with people, yet no reliable witnesses ever came forward to say they saw anything suspicious that day? I mean, it's McDonald's Grocery on Murdock Road. Wouldn’t there have been quite a few people coming and going? I've always thought that maybe someone did see something but didn't realize it was important at the time. Or maybe they were too afraid to speak up, given how these things can sometimes involve local residents or people who might retaliate. The fact that James Britt Monroe claimed he was only inside for a few minutes raises so many questions for me. Could Amber have wandered off, or could someone have taken her in that tiny window of opportunity? It's unsettling how an ordinary errand can turn into an unsolved mystery that haunts so many for decades. Keeping Amber in my thoughts as her case deserves to be solved.
