Hi everyone, I was going through some old case files and came across Alisha Smiley's disappearance from 1985. One thing that stood out to me is how distinct her appearance was, especially with the slight discoloration in her right eye and the gap in her teeth. These features could have been prominent identifiers if anyone had seen her shortly after she went missing or even much later. Has anyone seen any updates or similar sightings in cold case databases over the years? It seems odd that with such specific characteristics, no solid leads have surfaced. Also, was it ever verified if the two women seen with a child near the Omni could have been connected to Alisha? Maybe someone local or with access to older unsolved reports could chip in. It's just so baffling how quickly she seemed to vanish without more concrete sightings. Would love to hear your thoughts!

It's been on my mind a lot—why would Alisha have been left alone even for just a few minutes? I don't mean to point fingers at Alisha's aunt here, but it's baffling in hindsight. The Omni would have been a bustling place with lots of people coming and going. With the traffic in that area—anyone could have seen those two kids and taken advantage of the situation. It makes me wonder if there were security cameras anywhere at that time, and if they were ever checked? I know it was the '80s, but it's uncomfortable thinking about how vulnerable they were, even for just a short time. The McDonald's idea is something I keep circling back to, but wouldn't someone have noticed a little girl wandering off alone? My heart goes out to the family even today—it must be so difficult not having any answers. I'm still holding out hope that someone might come forward after all these years.
