Hey everyone, I've been following Odalys Xiomara Gonzalez's case lately, and something's been really bothering me. I was reading through some threads and noticed there hasn't been much talk about the delay in public awareness. She went missing in January 2022, and I don't remember seeing much about her case until much later. Why do certain cases take so long to gain traction in the media? It feels like not enough people knew to keep an eye out when it mattered most. If anyone has insights into how these cases get prioritized or become widely known, I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts. We need to keep discussing these gaps so we can try to close them in the future.
I've been following Odalys' case closely and something that's been really puzzling me is the lack of any significant leads from public sightings. Given that she disappeared from such a busy area in North Hollywood, you'd think someone would have seen something or come forward by now. I know LAPD has asked people not to approach her if spotted, but I wonder if that might discourage folks from reporting sightings because they're worried about getting involved or doing the wrong thing. Maybe we need more awareness about how to safely report sightings without putting anyone at risk. Does anyone have ideas on how we can support getting this info out there? Every tip could help bring her home.
