Did anyone else hear about the vigil held for Roland Cortez Mayo on the anniversary of his passing? I came across a post mentioning it, and it seems like it was a deeply moving gathering. It's heartbreaking to think of a family waiting so long for answers. While it’s encouraging to see the community come together in memory of Roland, it also underscores how much we still need answers. I’ve read that even small details can make a big difference in these cases. If anyone was in that area on 8th Street around the time of the tragedy or remembers anything unusual, letting the MPD know might really aid their investigation. Hoping for some progress soon, for Roland and all those he left behind.

Hey everyone, just came across a bit about Roland Mayo’s case, and I’ve been thinking a lot about the importance of community in these situations. It’s not just about solving a case but standing together to support the family and friends who lost someone dear to them. It’s tough enough dealing with loss, let alone without answers or justice. What really struck me is the MPD's call for help after all these years. I feel like sometimes we underestimate the power of witness accounts, even in situations that happened a while ago. If anyone was around the 8th Street area back in 2005, maybe a detail seemed small then, but it could make a difference now. Roland deserves justice, and his loved ones deserve peace of mind. It’s so important for people to speak up if they know anything. My heart goes out to the Mayo family and all those who knew Roland. Let's hope someone out there can help authorities finally close this case. Keep spreading the word, folks.
