Was anyone else surprised there wasn't a better plan in place before they attempted to swim the Colorado River? I mean, even seasoned swimmers would think twice about taking on that stretch, especially without some backup or a safety net. I recently read that the river can have sudden currents that are hard to predict. Does anyone know if they checked the conditions or if someone was supposed to meet them on the other side? Just really hoping they find Herrera-Nabor soon.

I've been thinking a lot about the role of currents in Herrera-Nabor's disappearance. Just read about how unpredictable the Colorado River can be, especially with seasonal changes and varying water releases from upstream dams. I'm no expert, but it seems plausible that he might have gotten caught in a stronger current than anticipated, and that could've swept him away before anyone could react. Has anyone looked into what the river conditions were like on the day he went missing? Would love to know more about this angle; weather and water data for the area during that time might hold clues. Hope they can find some answers soon.

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Herrera-Nabor and something just dawned on me about the weather conditions that day. Does anyone know if there were any unusual currents reported in that area of the Colorado River around the time he went missing? It seems like something worth looking into since unexpected currents could definitely make that section more dangerous than usual. Any insights or links to local reports would be greatly appreciated. Stay safe out there!
