I've been digging deep into the whole situation around Perry Ray Robinson Jr.'s disappearance during the Wounded Knee occupation, and there's something that's been on my mind. It's strange and deeply unsettling how a man who stood for nonviolence, who was dedicated to peaceful change, could end up a victim of such violence himself. The accounts I've read say that there was a significant clash of philosophies between Robinson and some AIM members. I find it incredibly tragic that such a division could have led to his untimely death. What baffles me is how, even after the FBI investigation and the release of documents, there's been no real breakthrough for his family in terms of finding his remains or fully understanding the circumstances of his death. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful for his loved ones to be so close yet so far from the truth. I sincerely hope they get the answers they deserve soon, and that Perry's commitment to justice in life will eventually see justice for him in death. Anyone else have thoughts or additional insights on this?
