I’ve been going through some old news articles and came across the unsolved case of Damien Anthony Turner. It’s just so tough to think about how it happened in broad daylight, right at the intersection of 18th Street and Independence Avenue. I can't imagine what his family must be going through all these years without answers.
It's sad to see such a vibrant part of D.C. struggle with these acts of violence. It’s clear the police are doing what they can, and the $25,000 reward is still out there. But it feels like the key to cracking this case lies within the community. I truly believe someone out there knows something that could help solve this.
