I came across the case of Aaron Briggs and was struck by the complexity of the event that unfolded that night at the Lariat Motel. From what I’ve read, Aaron seemed like such a dedicated dad and talented individual. The circumstances leading to the shooting make it feel like such a tragic loss that might have been preventable. It’s a reminder of how crucial it is for everyone to understand these laws in their local area, so that situations like these might be handled differently.
