I've been thinking a lot about the brave motorcyclist who witnessed the tragic scene on August 9, 2022. It's haunting to imagine stumbling upon something like that. It must have been terrifying to see Young with a gun and have to make the split-second decision to flee and call 911. This person played a crucial role in making sure authorities were alerted immediately. I can't even begin to imagine how they're coping after witnessing such a traumatic event. I'm really grateful they were able to maintain some presence of mind in such a chaotic situation. Sending thoughts to everyone affected by this senseless tragedy.

Has anyone else been thinking about Acacia's call for help before everything went down? It breaks my heart knowing she tried to reach out when tensions were rising and felt stuck in that situation. I can't begin to imagine the fear she must have felt. It's a stark reminder of how important it is to listen to people in distress and take their concerns seriously. There were so many moments when things might have turned out differently if only additional help had come sooner. My thoughts are with Acacia's family and friends. It's clear she was loved and deserved far better than the hand she was dealt. ?
