I’ve been following the trial of Francis James Acebo closely, and one aspect I can’t stop thinking about is the effect it must have had on his children. It’s chilling to think that their father visited them to say goodbye before turning himself in. I can't even imagine the confusion and emotional turmoil they must have experienced. In such tragic circumstances, children can often become the unseen victims, caught up in the aftermath of the crime. It's heartbreaking to consider how their lives have been forever changed by this senseless act. My thoughts are with them, as well as with Derek Redstar Pappan's family. The ripples of these violent acts touch so many lives and it's so important that we remember all who are affected as justice takes its course.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the aspect of Acebo visiting his children before turning himself in. It must have been an incredibly confusing and emotional moment for those kids. I can't even imagine how they'll process something like this as they grow older. On one hand, you've got a father saying goodbye for possibly the last time, and on the other, you're finding out he committed such a violent act. It’s a tragic situation all around, and it's important to remember the kids are victims too, caught up in this whirlwind without any fault of their own. I hope they get the support and counseling they need to cope with the aftermath. Sending love to everyone affected by this tragedy, especially Derek’s family. They deserve justice and peace after everything they've been through. Take care, everyone.
