Has anyone been following the group home disappearances in Castle Hill? I'm relieved to hear Dezi Whittingham and the other girls were found safe, but I'm curious about the gaps in supervision at these types of facilities. Considering the timeline, it’s concerning that five young girls could go missing without anyone noticing the pattern sooner. Has anyone heard if there have been any changes or reforms in response to this incident? It feels like there should be more oversight and accountability to prevent something like this from happening again. Any insights from those more familiar with group homes?
I’ve been following Dezi Whittingham's case closely, and something about the Castle Hill group home really sticks with me. What kind of oversight is happening in these facilities that five teenagers could go missing within such a short period? Even though Dezi and the others are thankfully safe, this feels like a wake-up call that the system needs better checks. I’m curious if there will be any changes made to prevent something like this from happening again. Would love to hear what others think about the accountability of group homes in these situations.
