Ever since I first heard about Terry Larson's case, I can't stop thinking about his family and the community in Powers Lake. It's so hard to wrap my head around how a sibling relationship could end in such tragedy. I was reading about how the deputy found Terry in a locked camper after months, during a welfare check. Can you imagine the weight of that moment for the officers and for everyone who knew Terry? It's so surreal and painful thinking about how quickly life can change. As someone with siblings, it breaks my heart to think about the finality of it all and the missed opportunities for peace and reconciliation. My thoughts are definitely with those who knew and loved Terry. What a loss.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the Terry Larson case from Powers Lake, and something has been on my mind. The fact that Terry's body was only discovered months after the tragic incident just perplexes me. How did nobody notice he was missing for so long? Did Terry not have any close friends or other family members who checked in on him regularly, aside from Aaron? It's truly upsetting to think about how isolated he might have been during those months. It hurts to think about what Terry's loved ones have gone through, realizing too late that something was terribly wrong. I hope this case serves as a reminder to us all to check in on our loved ones more often. Thoughts?
Sending love to Terry's family during this difficult time. ?
I was reading up on Terry Larson's case recently, and I can't shake off the feeling of how unfortunate it all is. I’ve been thinking about the deputy who found Terry's body. We often focus on the family and the victim, which is incredibly important, but what about the first responders who walk into these heartbreaking scenes? It must take a toll on them emotionally and mentally.
I can't imagine what it would be like to discover something so awful and then have to carry that image with you. I genuinely hope that if any support or counseling was needed, they were able to receive it. It’s just a sad situation all around, and my thoughts are with everyone touched by this tragedy. ?
