I've been following the story of Brian James Story and I just can't get over the effect this tragedy must have had on the local community. It's hard to imagine how such a close-knit town must be feeling after losing two members in such a horrific manner. The fact that law enforcement had to involve so many agencies, including the U.S. Border Patrol, really indicates the severity and the ripple effect this has had on the area. My heart goes out to the friends and families, and to everyone who knew Brian and Christopher Sluder. It's important for these small towns to pull together and support each other during such difficult times. How are the community and schools coping with the aftermath? It must have been terrifying for the students and parents during the lockdowns. Thinking of everyone affected.
